Did anybody ever have the problem that you wanted to add an action to an element, for instance in BeforeShow, but then the dialog with the list of actions is just empty?
I tried to figure it out with CodeCharge Support but they couldn't reproduce...
I only get the actions back when I reinstall CCS after cleaning all registries and stuff. And even then, they stay for 3-4 working sessions, and dissapear again... the folder containing the actions is still there, I didn't even add custom actions or anything.
This this makes me go crazy...
Help apreciated...

Hello,
please try the following solution:
1. uninstall CCS;
2. clean the registry (remove HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\YesSoftware\CodeChargeStudio
- and HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\YesSoftware\CodeChargeStudio keys);
3. reboot;
4. install CCS1.0.7 and activate.
If it won't help please contact us via support system.

I have the same problem, except that I have never seen any of the predefined actions.
Also: the procedure of deinstalling CCS, clearing all registry entries, reinstalling CCS and reactivating it just didn't work for me.
I am using Win-XP and support suggested I should try to reinstall XP and then reinstall/reactivate CCS, but I still haven't got the time to do that. When I do so I tell you of my results.

Same here... also the examples project list is empty.
Who wants to buy a program that needs new OS installation every 3-4 sessions ?

Hello,
please refer to the thread at: http://www.gotocode.com/disc_viewt.asp?mid=12644
It describes how to create master-detail form with CCS.

I found a post from the newsgroup where Dave Rexel wrote that turning on Indexing Service for disk/folder in w2k works. Worked for me in XP too.

Are you using XPs built-in IIS or are you running your own Apache server?
I'm also on XP, but (so far) have not had any of the problems you seem to be experiencing. I am not using XPs' built-in IIS. I am running the following:
apache 1.3.26
PHP4.2.2
MySQL4
phpMyAdmin 2.2.6
PHP-GTK 0.51
AnalogX php configurator
Zend Optimiser
PhpWebsite
It was a very easy install. If you are interested in trying it

If you decide to do this, please let us know if that solves your problems.

I have the same problem. The actions can't be selected for an event. Trying to Add Action... reveales an empty list. But the .xml actions are still on the hard-disk (in C:\Program Files\CodeChargeStudio\Components\Actions in my case) ant what is even weirder is that in every example projects the actions can be seen... What am I missing???
On the other hand, dear Codecharge Support, I think that the uninstall, regedit and reinstall stuff is just a bad joke. I might say, a VERY bad one. In your place I shouldn't give such "solution"...

To resolve this problem please try to remove readonly and archive attributes from
action files.

Yes, that works!
But a more detailed explanation wouldn't hurt. I know that this problem will be fixed at the next release, but anyway, please satisfy our curiosity...
Thanks, Alex.

No, it doesn't working anymore. Only after an hour or so. The action files are still without Read-only or Archive attributes but the actions are still not visible in the Events/Add Actions list.
What changed the situation, I don't know. Probably after first Save, after first Live View or so...
Hey, Alex, please give us a GOOD, LASTING solution!
