i just got a new laptop that has xp and ie 6.0.26 on it.

when i install ccs and create/open a project i can not see any of the information in the properties or events windows.

i tried restalling ccs but no dice.

and i have the exact same version on a win 2000 install and everything works just fine.

thoughts?

when i say "i can not see any of the information in the properties or events windows" i mean that there is nothing at all there - not even the lines separating the fields. it's just a big blank box.

found the answer: i needed to update the "service pack" that shipped with xp. or maybe it did not ship with xp. all i know is that i updated ie and all is well.

With CC closed - Try changing your video resolution, and try setting on 16bit-high color vs. 8bit-256 or 32bit color.
If you find that resizing CC window will "sometimes" show the info, then you may have too many programs running. (happens to me sometimes).
