I am a big time knucklehead when it comes to programming, but I am trying to learn.
Right now, I need to be able to filter the contents of a grid by username. How in the world do I do it? I want to be able to mask out all records but those belonging to the username logged in, and still be able to search the displayed fields.
Any help, or a nudge in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Aaron

It would help if you told us if you're using CC or CCS and PHP or ASP or JSP. :)

Aaron,
I suppose that user_id is stored in the table used as grid datasource.
In this case to display username on the form you should use two tables (the users table in addition), link them on user_id field and select both user_id and user_name to be selected from the tables.
To filter records and display the ones belong to logged in user only, add Table parameter user_id and compare it to session variable UserID.
