Hi
I have downloaded the demo and every time I start it it has missing text in menus and all icons look the same.

There is an incompatibility betwwn CCS and ACDSEE 5. The ico file were associated with acdsee and if I deassociate them all the menus appear ok.

Actually, I've seen the same thing happen, though the menu text comes and goes.

I did make the acdsee connection and fixed it easily enough (by resetting the ico association to the default).

I haven't found the trigger that makes the menus go away or come back - so far it's been seemingly random. At least now I know it's not just me!

I have been having the same problem, but I do not have ACDCEE installed on my pc. Anything else that could be causing it?

Hello,
If you encounter this problem with registered CCS version please follow the instruction below.
Run regedit and remove "ActivationKey" property from HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\YesSoftware\CodeChargeStudio
Then start CCS and select 'Activation' button on splash screen and activate CCS using automated activation through the Internet
