I want to show a grid with (amongst others) items, but only those items with Status=1.

Both items and status are from another joined table.

So I gues I have to use something like WHERE Status=1, but this doesn't work and or is not complete.

Use querybuilder and select both tables. Join them. Go to the parameter section and choose type expression. here you put the where status=1 bit.
That should do the trick
