Having been a keen user and supporter of CC since its original release and now CCS, I’d like to throw a little something back into the ‘pot’. I appreciate that this is not an answer to the numerous recent posts and discussions here relating Yes Software’s participation in this forum, and the maintenance of the online knowledge base. But with a little luck, and more importantly ‘your’ support it may help alleviate some of the issues mentioned and discussed here.
Hence I’ve uploaded a new a community area called ‘CodeChargers’ for anyone who wishes to join and participate in.
Obviously it is not intended to replace this forum, but rather to compliment it, just as so many other software developers communities have done, successfully before us. The ‘key’ however is participation and hopefully everyone who frequents this forum will spare a little time to join us a therefore establish a community for all CC /CCS users.
I’ve tried to set-up as many areas as possible to cover all aspects of CC / CCS, if you have any suggestions for additional ones or amendments, then I’d be pleased to hear them. Additionally, as this community is about ‘us’ then if you have some spare time and would like to become a moderator, then please contact me via the online forum. Who knows, maybe if it becomes popular some of us could develop the site further, perhaps to include the excellent code snippets library that once member has kindly set-up for us? The options are limitless …. The key is participation, after all it’s only as good as you make it.
Thanks for reading this, I’m certainly open to constructive suggestions hope to see you soon!

I'm very impressed with what you have done
This is an expandable system that can grow as the community grows.
It appears flexible enough to satisfy everyones needs
Well done...You have created a great "additional platform" to centralise ALL CC/Studio information.
The name is perfect too.
I hope it will soon appear as a link on all the CC/Studio sites.

Tony M:
Thank you for the kind words, I sincerely hope that other ‘users’ find it of some value.
I have invited Yes Software to participate in the community, but as stated before – the real key to its success lies with the rest of us.

Nice board and start to helping out Yes with the daunting task of what we are preparing to do. I have registered and will use the board as much as time allows. Thank you for providing the domain/web space/bandwidth, as a hosting provider I know this stuff doesn't come for free and I appreciate your effort. The board is EXTREMELY well organized, with plenty of forums to distinguish posts. This will save me so much time just posting/searching.
Lets all get over there and start using this for creating the new KB....:)

How are you setting up the cookies on the login page. I would like to have this feature on my internal website, but have yet to find any articles? Could you post how you do this or email it to me? jonathan.archer@providentbank.com

Hello Eladesor,
Excellent! I've joined up and would like to congratulate you on your choice of PHPBB which is the finest freeware forum app I've ever had the pleasure to use (I have used it as a forum for my students since its inception).
Best Regards
Dave

First of all thank you to everyone who has emailed me, your kind words are sincerely appreciated.
As requested by a couple of members, CodeChargers has some modifications:
1. Language Packs installed
Chinese (traditional}
French
German
Hebrew
Japanese
Russian
Spanish
Swedish
(They all seem to work, but to be honest I have really got a clue as I can’t understand a word….)
2. Print Topic
Function added to print posts and topics for easy reference.
3. Quick Links Menu
Allows quick access to all your popular Code Charge Sites etc..
Kind regards
Eladesor
(ps just hope they all work )

Thank you Eladesor for your time and effort with www.codechargers.com
You have achieved a lot in such a short time...I'm impressed with the changes you've made since yesterday...At last we have a flexible and expandable "additional" information source....
IF only Steven D could get his "Knowledge Base" bolted on as well )
Keep up the excellent work Eladesor.

Hi!
I am trying to login to CodeChargers.Com without success. After trying to receive my password again the following message is displayed:
"Sorry, but your password cannot be retrieved because your account is currently inactive. Please contact the forum administrator for more information."
How should I then contact the moderator in order to activate my account?
The website seems to be a very nice improvement to this community. The kind of professional forum I would expect to have to discuss and *find* the information I am looking for! (and better yet: the sw that the folk(s) at CodeChargers.Com setup is Open Source and free!!!). Don't know why Yes still sticks to this forum here...
If your business core is another one, than it makes no sense to develop such an application inside the company, because it will probably never surpass applications existent in the market either for a price or for free as this very nice OpenSource project Eladesor setup as an improvement to this community. Well, if Yes did not do it, than I certainly have to give my compliments to the folks who did it, since it seems to be a very promising improvement to our lives (and Yes' too :))

Hi Eladesor
www.codechargers.com is a great addition to the Code Charge community.
I have just posted a new extension for a WYSIWYG EDITOR, with the hope of developing this as a Community Project.
Best Regards
Bill
