My header and footer include page only work when clicking the CCS new page icon.
If I try to add the header or footer page into a previous page that was created prior to the creation of the header/footer page, it will not work.

Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug?

I added a header and footer to an existing page just the other day and it worked OK for me.

Steps are
1. create your header & footer pages
2. set the Includable property for each page to Yes
3. Position cursor at top of page in question, click the Include Page button on the 'Forms' toolbox
4. Select header for the source page (It couldn't be that you're just renaming the control so that it says {header} on the design screen? - it's the page property that's significant)
& repeat similar for the footer

I don't think I did anything else. Did you generate the header and footer pages themselves (something I sometimes forget to do after changes) - try a full site generation.

Does the rest of the page display normally? If CCS couldn't process the header or footer for some reason then there ought to be a coloured warning in the Messages window.

Kind regards
Dan

for whatever reason, the header/footer page will not display on only 1 page, I can add the header/footer page on other pages.

I guess it's easier to rebuild the page instead of trying to figure out whats wrong.
