I'm getting near to the end of my trial version with CCS and I need to decide between CCS or Dreamweaver MX

I'm fairly new to using PHP/MYSQL and CCS got me up running quickly building master/detail pages, add/record/update pages.

It looks like Dreamwever MX supports PHP/MYSQL but looks like more work building master/detail pages. etc.....

It looks like both products require manual programming when it comes to building a shopping cart/quote system which I am trying to build.

Dreamweaver MX looks like their documention is more newbie friendly when it comes to building applications but CCS appears more powerful assuming you know how to use it.

any advice is appreciated
Dan

They both have strengths and weaknesses , this type of comparison could take longer than writing the application itself.

If you have the budget, buy them both.
If you don’t have the budget, buy the one you feel more comfortable with.

I try to think of a software developer as being a craftsman with a bag of tools,
some tools are better than others for some jobs, yet the skill is more often in their use.
