Application created in PHP with MySql DB. Worked fine in CCS1.x.

You go to a protected page and it redirects you to the login page, you
insert your username and password and press submit.

if it is wrong you get the normal error.
if it is right it just displays the login page again

after this if you try to go to the protected page again it fails and sends
you to the login page again.

Can someone please help with this?

Thank you,
fr0b

P.S. I have gotten confirmation from one other person on this error.

Had the same problem. Someone else figured out (and it works now for me too) that if you are running a local software firewall (for me, the built-in WinXP firewall software - which is also behind a router) the security has a problem. If you turn off the software firewall, the pages work properly. So at least there is an easy work-around for now.

No proxy or firewall. cookies are enabled in the browser, php is setup right.
