Hello. I'm evaluating the product and I have noticed that there is no data dictionary. Is there a way to have one (to save captions, relations, control types, validations and so on) or is that an omision to the product? If so, will that funcionality be added in cc 2?
Thanks in advance

Data dictionaries belong to databases such as Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL etc. CC and CCS are not databases but rather they generate web applications based on database content. In other words, you must have your database before you can use CC or CCS and that database would be Oracle, MySQL, Access ... and that's where you find the data dictionary.

Well, when you develop an application would be Ok to have you captions stored, so anytime you create a control based on a field the framework use the same caption instead of you having to tipe the caption everytime. Also, controls, validations, links and so on. It's normal in any framework. I assume that there in not a plan to include this feature.
Thanks

It would be a good idea to make some sort of dictionary accesible. Most times I develop the database specifically for the application, so a link between a tool like Visio and CCS would be very handy.
