I'm willing to pay for the following....

1. How to configure the bookstore shopping cart so users do not have to log-in to add items.

2. Email shopping cart items to my email address.

you can email me atdancelestino@yahoo.com to discuss the project and fee.

Thanks

I guess the request I had was a little tougher than I had anticipated. The people who originally responded have yet to come through.I'm still waiting for a solution.I'm still willing to pay. All I need is a "how to" solution. A step by step explination will do. I would like the soloution using CCS,PHP,mysql.

Thanks

Dan,
You can't get there from here. The Bookstore example was based on code they did in 6/2001, they have since made many changes, and a major change in the modeling process used in the newer version of the software. And there ain't no way, to get from 1.2.1 to 2.05 with what they give you.

There are a lot of very frustrated users, and I got the same lack of results from the support staff. Wait a day for the next question, followed by wait anotherday for the next.

I bought into the concept early on. Ver1.0, and recently upgraded. I am now convinced that they just don't care.

Dan I felt like giving up many times, but with a little persistence I was able to get done what I needed to. Give me more information as to what you are trying to do and I will see if I can help you free of charge.

Hi Ken,

I'm trying to accomplish the following:

1. E-mailing the contents of a form to my email address
2. Configure the Bookstore example shopping cart, so users will not have to log-in or register to use it.

I've emailed tech-support and they responded with the following:

"You can email any message using standard mail() function in button's OnClick event. You may build your message listing cart contents and attaching additional messages.

http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.mail.php

2. You may keep user's shopping cart contents in a session variable. You may store it for instance as a string:

id;count;id;count;id;count

For all items in cart. You could write events that would enumerate, update and clear such list. You may access session variables using CCSetSession() and CCGetSession() CCS functions. Session variables are preserved between pages for given user."

If I were a guru I'm sure this would all make sense, but what I need is a step by step,

Thanks for any help
Dan
