OK I have looked in the "Building Database driven event management" pdf for help with email, and found pages 84 - 86 but they are too advanced for what I am trying to accomplish in respect to email. By the way tell a friend is not good either.
Here is what I want to do.
Lets say I have a user table, and a message table, and I go and add a message for that user to the message table using grid and record, I want to then email the user that the message is for that he has a new message.
I have been working on this a while without much luck, any help is appreciated.

Hi, what language are you using? If it's ASP then I may be able to help, I'm fairly new to this stuff, so I'm not too sure about the difference in CC and CCS, but I've got similar email events to work alright.
