Anyone know of a issue with CodeCharge and Window XP Pro IIS 5.1.

I have downloaded the trials, but cannot get the pages published locally on my laptop for testing. I was able to publish to remote sites.

If I attemp to view one of the .html files it works fine, and I see the template for the page. If I make my own ASP page by hand, it works ok. When I try to view a CodeCharge generated ASP page it looks like its loading, but just sits there. If I let it run its course then I get a HTTP Error 403.9 Too many connections. Once this happens, I am unable to view and files through IIS.

Please help, CodeCharge looks great and I really wanna see what its made of before my trial runs out...

Nick,
I too am plaqued with the same problem. Don't have a solution. Say by the way will Cold Fusion server work with CSS? I think this a serious issue that Yes Software should address in its next release! They sure get alot of mileage out of us guinea pigs. I don't know if they are really looking at the competition, but Web Matrix by Microsoft (which is FREE!) is right on their heels. Good Luck..

I am running both CodeCharge_2.0.5 and CodeChargeStudio_2.beta3 on my Microsoft original WinXP-Pro(SP1) DESKTOP. All my ASP and Perl code generated by CC/CCS work fine. -- Are you running some vendor customized XP-Pro for the particular LAPTOP? I suggest updating your laptop with a FULL XP-Pro from Microsoft, not the version that came with your laptop. Could be a vendor specific driver issue.

aquatera, please don't tell us such horror stories. I checked it and I believe that Web Matrix has ONLY the .NET as target platform where CCS is platform independent. Please correct me if I am wrong.

I had the same problem with my Compaq laptop. I did also re-installed a virgin MS-Win.XP.Pro over what was already on the laptop and everything came miracleously to life. -- Just don't ask what it all means. All I can tell you that one cannot trust that MS crap.
