I would like to use or just have a look at php
What do I need to view php files on my pc.
my system
windows 98 with personal web server.

If you mean just the "source" then open it up in Notepad.

Hello Arthur. You can download the PHP component at www.php.net. Look for 'Downloads' in the upper left hand corner. There you will see a PHP installer program for Windows. Download it and install it. I did this on my system and it worked flawlessly. the PWS automatically recognizes PHP and ASP so you can effectively run both. I guess it uses the file extension to know which interpreter to use. Good luck.
