Dear CodeCharge Studio users,
We are pleased to announce that the Beta 4 version of CodeCharge Studio 2.0 is now available.
This is potentially the last Beta release before the planned official 2.0 release to be announced by March 22nd.
As there is a potential risk of bugs introduced in any Beta version, please always make sure that you backup your existing projects before upgrading

I've tested it and republished my test site
www.rexdesign.com with b4... very good, but:
Accessing the support form does not show any entry in the product drop-down list for b4 (max b3) so how do I report an issue with this new release??
There are many issues outstanding
example: using the windows clipboard in other applications with CCS open in another OS window (in w2k xp) cause CCS to crash!!! What?? I can't copy and paste in other apps without risking a CCS crash?
the file upload component saves only the filename and not the path so how do you display or link this uploaded file in subsequent pages if the path is not saved in the DB?
No information, not even a simple read-me is issued for new components like file-upload so users can test the new components with some guidance from the developers.... I pussled through the file-upload but many CCS beta-testers will need help here.
When is YS going to shed the shareware roots, poor docs, arcane updates with scanty release notes and still no signs of an SDK, not even a preliminary version? I have small hopes of any detailed documentation being released on primary subjects for corporate developers (Custom pre-built Actions, Builders and Wizards) so we can make our own plug-ins. The long promised documentation could have released on a website using CCS itself to build and update it, thus allowing the community to at least preview these documents.
As TonyM rightly points out, a simple cut and paste by the YS team into the KnowledgeBase&FAQ would result in at least a few new articles each week... the present update frequency of the YS KnowledgeBase&FAQ is not impressive.
Through sites like CodeChargers.net I am very comitted to CCS so I have only the best wishes for the CCS dev-team and it is with regret that I post the above comments.
Sorry for the rant but after a recent very disturbing episode I am not in the mood for any un-professional behaviour.
I know that YS is the company wth the best support, I would like it to have the best documentation as well so I can use the program in more advanced ways.
Greetings
Dave
