Does anyone have any recommendations for using reporting software in conjunction with Codecharge Studio 2.0
I have looked at Crystal Reports, Excelwriter, Rac crosstabs amongst others,
however I am loath to put much time into any one of these until I understand how to implement them with the Login/security pages.
I am using Access and SQL and ASP3.0templates.
I would appreciate any experiences or suggestions of implementing a way to reaaly expand a Codecharge base site. (hopefully one day Codecharge will incorporate all the crosstab and reporting tools as part of the Studio)

There are numerous dicussions threaded through this bulletin board with many people having success with Crystal.
The solution chosen stems from requirements, technical abilities and COST!!!
My preferred is www.rptsoftware.com's solution. But it is based upon my hate of Crystal's old technology and their horrible license structures (BUYER BEWARE).
I also now work with a "BASE" framework constructed in CCS2.0 which allows me to deliver CCS solutions with dynamically integrated Page / Menu / User / Report security and reporting.
Re crosstab solutions you may need to look at alternates (look at using Excel and the Crystal / Rptsoftware software solution).
The base that Codecharge provides is very expandable once you have mastered the basics - that means you need to understand the Common classes that come with the product and expand on them.
Not much info I am afraid but I hope this helps.
If you do come up with a good reporting solution I would love to hear about it.
Regards,
Edd
