I am a bit fearful of upgrading too hastily, I need to be productive today. Anyone do this?

Dangerous!
I spend 2 hours to recover everything after upgrading to 6.11,
now I try 6.10 or go back to the older one, I need to continue
today as well (managing ~300k lines of code)
CodeCharge team: you did a really good job the past months,
I'm a happy customer anyway, so calm down. Quality over quantity,
take your time to finish the next upgrade. Except some issues,
2.0.5.4 does a good job.

MB,
What is your environment? What was the nature of your problems?

ok, that's a fair question.
Right now I'm working in a win2k/asp/mysql environment on ccs 2.0.5.4.
This version has several problems (as we know), critical for me is
date and time and individual parameter handling (worldwide intranet).
One issue in this version are Parameter name/source (e.g. for links)
To solve this, you have to use quotations in the parameter source field,
which generates ""xyz"" (double quotations) at several points in the code.
Update causes several problems, e.g. double quotations at one location
doesn't work (missing ')' ), removing this to (xyz) as it should be, results in ( cannot find the database field ), although it is an Expression, not a db field at all. Both are caused in 'Classes.asp'. Comparing the generated code, I expect many more "smaller" issues or only differences.
The problem: everything has to be tested again, fixed issues you resolved by workarounds probably need to be changed.
I don't know, if this is also related to php (which is usually my preferred language since beginning). I tried 6.10 - it's the same. I cannot change right now, because 6 month well running, improved and tested code doesn't work.

Thanks for the warning MB. I think I'll wait a bit before updating.
I can live with the occasional crashes - at least I can get some work done.

... ever get the feeling that we are just "free" beta testers for YS?
The 2 yrs of free upgrades I got before CC 1.0 was released does not really amount to anything other then 2 years of beta testing and FRUSTRATION.
1) CC_205 has not had any updates for almost 2 years ... so free 2 years are really free for YS
2) CCStudio, well, we're still beta testing. ... Again, free means not paid beta testers. Actually we PAID for being the beta testers by buying CC/CCS.
It just sucks.

Hello,
I suggest that you contact YesSoftware about bugs found or issues you suggest CCS bugs.
If you’re using CCS I suppose you prefer to use non buggy versions.
