I have noticed that I often go days with out any messages coming from
the newsgroups on the news.codecharge.com news server, I thought it was becuase no one was posting. Now I am not so sure. Yesterday I posted a message at 1pm pacific and it has not arrived for me yet. The last message that was sent in the codechargestudio group was sent on 4/19 by Freddie.

I even reset the news group and downloaded all the messages again but that one is the latest

Is anyone else having the same expirience as I am? Or are you seeing more messages than me?

thanks.

It would appear the news group is down...

Should we put up a PHPBB?
how about bbs.phptools.org?

What's YesSoftware up to??

am I the one of the few that miss news.codecharge.com?

The news-group has been down since 23/24 april and they do not even notice

is everybody there on holiday or what??

That a company can let it's news group lie idle for days without any comments is worrying to say the least.

Hi,

Both CC and CCS are strong and must-have products.

The newsgroup is down, the CCS upgrades are still problematical.
Is it just my focus or are the gripes increasing??

The amount of how-to and workaround queries on this board, the newsgroups and codechargers is disturbing sometimes. I know a lot are 'new user' type queries, but the seasoned users reporting errors is a worry.

I'm still running ccs2.054 and cc2.05. CCS gives a lot of problems, inconsistently and unpredictably. I'll perservere 'cause it does more for me than it takes away.

Keep striving Yes, but work on what's there for a while - especially please dependent listboxes.

The Copy To function in 3.0.5.6 is broken, the php file does not get updated so any thing you do to the new page does not appear to work as the php page is using the old page.

Alice, what is a 'dependent listbox'? I use LOV's on columns all the time with CCS which I think is a dependent listbox.

Hi All,

The newsgroup downloaded 30ish messages this morning. With sent dates of 04/19-04/29. But there was a gap in the dates from 04/24-04/28 where there are no messages at all.

It isn't the end of the world and I don't think it is foreshadowing any kind of problems with YES. It would be great if it worked 100% of the time but technology does not always play nice.

Just keep improving CCS and all will be right in the world<G>
