God forbid you are a Windows BETA Tester!
CodeCharge activation system is set to detect excessive activations based on their frequency. The system currently allows one activation every 30 days. If you are denied an activation, it means that your activations were too frequent and you should use the software in the Trial/Evaluation mode for up to 30 days.
Not fair!!!!!!!!
And I know this will be pulled from the postings, Also Unfair!

You are wrong about the removal of articles with this statement.

I find it a good alternative from yessoftware to protect their soft. I had never a problem with more frequent activations. (mailed to support).

Unfair that the beta expires? Huh? You're wrong about Yes Software. They are one of the cooler software companies left. Tech Support will actually answer your questions without making you wade through a knowledgebase. And I've experienced no problems with installing and using the released version.
And I guess they haven't pulled your note either.
Hmmmmmmm.

I believ you aren't exactly right about the activation proces. You can activate once every 30 days if the activation comes from an ip that differs from the last recorded ip. I've had some trouble with my notebook so I had to reinstall win2k several times and eventualy just got a new notebook from my boss. This meant I had to reinstall CCS several times within the 30 day period and had no trouble doing that. The only time I had trouble Activating CCS was when I first activated it while I was on the company network and later took the notebook home and had to reinstall for some dumb reason. Because the second time my ip was different I couldn't re activate my copy. Even then I was able to activate after consulting with Yes and explaining the situation.
I think this is a fair way of doing things although I feel I should be able to install CCS on two computers since I work in different locations a lot and do not always have the oportunity to take my notebook along. I do a lot of work from home and now have to drag along my notebook to do some work. I would rather install it on my home pc. I'm the only user of CCS so I feel that the use of CCS should be bound by user and not pc.
Maybe Yes could think of a way to do a network install so I can work with the same ccs copy on different locations. There must be a way to make sure the software is never used by more then 1 user at a time.
