I have read many of the posts regarding true integration with DW and happen to agree with the large majority that DW is the designers choice over Front Page.

I also read the reason why... "due to technical" reasons it hasn't been done.

All I can say is that Macromedia has a full API and a true plug-in architecture, evidenced by what the guys over at InterAkt have done.

If you folks here at CodeCharge need a technical contact at Macromedia, I am sure I can find one (the executive VP is a friend of mine).

DW could use a product like this to really round out all it's capabilities, currently supporting primarily ColdFusion which few actually use.

I myself like PHP/MySQL and UltraDev 6 went a long way to supporting this, but a CodeCharge plugin would really rock.

Guaranteed I would buy a copy as I am sure that many other PHP/DW developer/designers would as well if you guys built a plugin for DW.

Just let me know if you need an inside track at Macromedia to do this if you are truly interested. Seems to me that your marketability would sky rocket with the install base of DW... guys, it's money thats just sitting there waiting for a product like this to be truly integrated.

i develop in php/mysql with CCS. with the help of DW to do some editing. Integration would be great, but more waiting for an API for CCS.

I am not sure YES is reading this forum, better mail then direct or via their support system.

Maybe Yes is trying to get bought up by MS?

Hope not. You could kiss support for PHP/Java/ColdFusion etc. goodbye if that happened. I think it's probably just a little more complicated to implement. If I'm not mistaken the interface to DW is written in Javascript.
