The disappearing toolboxes seem to be related to the CCS extensions being installed. Completely uninstall CCS, manually delete the folders not deleted in the process. Re-install CCS from scratch. DO NOT re-install the extensions.

Thanks BB for copying my post "Studio 2.1 Toolbox Fix" earlier today. There is no need for yet another thread on the subject.
BTW, you are wrong by stating "DO NOT re-install the extensions"!!!
ReInstalled extensions work just fine!
