Hello!

I recently received an email from a new CCS2 user and she's having a bit of a problem with directory structures.

I told her that CCS2 development projects use 2 Directories. First a "Development" or working directory, and secondly, a "Production" or "Publishing" Directory. I also told her that she should not use the same directory for both Development and Production. I come from the old school where we like things in their own neat little boxes. After, I told her this, I realized that I was simply telling her my traditions. I went back and created a simple little program and, sure enough, you can do this.

I don't know what the advantage there would be, and I can think of a lot of drawbacks. Am I missing something. What's your opinion?

I am with you. I like separate directories.
