I have the same problem and there are also others with this problem but I have seen no fixes.
I uninstalled CCS2, searched the registry and removed all references, re-installed and it still doesn't work.
I am currently using the trial version to evaluate with a view to purchasing for my company but I am not impressed. The initial run was good but there are too many bits that just waste incredible amounts of my time. Visual Studio .NET here I come!!!

I guess using Microsoft products for even short periods does impair your intelligence....
BillYBob if u worked for me you would be transferred to the mailroom or making coffee because any *developer* would only seriously test a product on a freshly prepared machine... doh.... how you gonna know if all the rest of your junk on your junkie p2p windows is not messing up the CodeCharge install... you probably trying to crack the software or some other windows lame stuff...
Installing this brilliant CCS software has always worked for me so the fault is with you so don't badmouth good software because of your lameness... Go ahead and buy *NET crap that costs much more and does much less... guess you never heard of *vendor lock-in*
Yes! please release this immortal software for OSX or *X and you will gain.
Guess I got a bit over the top but thats what happens when I see red.

braindrain, that is exactly what is happening to you for that dumb@$$ post you just replied with. there are tons of reasons why something wont work, and it can happen to anyone.
I AT First had problems with ODBC with CCS and CC on a Win2k machine and a WinXP machine. Just wouldn't connect to the MySQL server and DB that I was using until i played around with all the settings to make sure something was in conflict with the program and the dB server software..I finally got it working after installing CC twice and CCS one more time and reinstalling my DB software.
SO no, it's more likely NOT his fault , and your stupid @$$ answer shows your whole ignorance on the subject.
As for the OP, what DB are you working with? OS?
CodeCharge Studio or CodeCharge?
These will help narrow down what you can do to correct the problem.

Ripd@$$ U proved my point
Looking at the above and your posts on forum I conclude that you are a pompous @$$ with a vastly inflated opinion of your own non-expertise.
If you think fumbling around blindly till you get something to work makes you any kind of expert you are a sad case of M$ lock-in. Stop trying to sound like an pro - you just end up looking stoopid.

Hello HAL9000,
have you tried remaking your system DSNs in your ControlPanel->ODBC->Setings?
