Hi..
when i ftp my pages thru ccs using a satelite (directway) connection I get error "a connection with server could not be established".
I know the ftp is a valid ftp url connection I've tested it using the browser and xp network places (via Sat).

Also
if I dial up say using juno or aol. The ccs FTP works fine. It only fails via directway.
I know sat connections have a latency issue.

Do you know anyone using the ccs FTP via a Satelite connection ?

Rick,

I also use a satellite connection as it is my only option. I live completely off-grid.

I have also had problems with connections. I used something called Dr. TCP and it can optimize the settings on your computer. It seemed to solve my issues. Also, there are a number of satellite forums where you may find other ideas although I don't know what they are off the top of my head. Do a search on google for them.

Good luck.
