question:

why is the date not showing in my browser after publishing it? is there anything to set in our webserver or patches/settings to be made in codecharge?

details:

i have a textbox object of data type date. i set the program settings to php 4.0 template. after publishing this to our linux webserver with the mysql installed in it, i tried accessing the program in the workstation through internet explorer. i found out that other informations are showing except those objects with the date data type.

thanks in advance.

Are the fields in the database date fields ?
What type of date fields?
Do you see values physically in the table in mysql ?

yes, they are of type date in the mysql database. the values are there.

but if i make the textbox data type into text, the value in the database will appear in the browser. but it should not be that way, it should show even if the data type of the textbox is date.

is there anything we missed in the setup of the mysql under the linux operating system?

we solved the problem. i was just guessing. i don't know what's the relation between the date and the reformatting of my harddisk. :)

so, i believe this thread is closed.

thanks.
