I want to give my users the possible to select images in their articles from the images folder without knowing the image name.

I tried to things without success:
1) to fill up a listbox with the names of the images from a certain folder

2) to display images in a separated window and to store the name off the selected image so I can set the value of a field in another page
(something like http://www.labs4.com/imagexplorer/1.0/index.php but this script doesn't work on Internet Explorer 6 SP1 DUTCH).

I am using CCS 2.1 on Windows XP Pro Dutch, Apache, MySQL & PHP. Browsers are Mozilla, Opera and IE 6.0 SP1 Dutch.

Have a look:

http://www.dbweaver.com/products.php

-login to the weavernews project and select "Submit news" from the menu.
-Upload an image
-preview it by clicking the "view" link
-drag the image into the editor window

That's it.

I don't know it is what you are looking for.

Hello Webracer

Please refer to this article by RonB on the the HTMLAREA freeware component which has image upload and image-gallery functionality

http://www.rexdesign.com/ccs/kb.php?category_id=39&lang...d=1&event_id=62

my article at
http://www.rexdesign.com/ccs/kb.php?category_id=39&lang...d=1&event_id=75

shows how to use the component, it's being used on many of my own projects with great success.

Dave
