Dear Imran,
It is almost same thing which you have done in count sheep fields,
here what i want to count number of items under any category, but it gives me error of undifiend veriable of directory_categories.
i m stuck here please guide me. thanks and regards in advance

you can also use
object->ds->RecordsCount in PHP
or
object.Recordset.RecordCount in ASP

Goes to forum on rexdesign but there are no record counting tutorial.

The Tutorials on Rexdesign are open to registered users, registration is free but as a lot of work and expense (hosting, expertise & bandwidth) has been expended it is is a prerequisite.
