Troubles with encoding - charset win 1250

I am using ASP 3.0 with templates and a diferent charset (windows 1250). When I start my web pages on local server everythink works OK, but when I publish them to the main web server I don't see some letters. Both servers have the same OS (win 2000 Server) and both have exactly the same regional settings.
Can anybody help me,
