I created a master/detail page as outlined in the example documentation. Only difference is that I was using different tables so I altered the table/form/fieldnames accordingly. Everything is perfect...except:
When I go to add a detail item, a blank row appears and then quickly disappears and so I cannot add an item.
Some Facts:In the editgrid component I only have 2 fields; the one hidden "order_id" field and a text box. Naturally I did not follow any steps that included the total or sum forms/code.
Can anyone help? Thanks in advance

THANK you Yes Software. The solution was simple (embarrassingly so). The add item button was set as a submit button. Once I changed that everything worked :)
