Hi everyone,
I hope that I am not taking alot of your time but you know I have a problem and I dont know that much coding so i need your help.
my problem is that when I change some sort parameters in the search record of a grid .. it doesn't work .. whatever you choose the same grid appears the same way whether you put ascending or descending or you choose the coumn to be sorted by its all the same.
i thought maybe the grid columns are not connected to the sort by fields !!
I dont know .. any help ??

I am using the exact scenario you listed without problem.
You didn't give much detail but let me suggest a possible problem. If you used some "BeforeBuildSelect" event and modified the "Order" clause, you may have created an SQL statement which produces unexpected results.

I think its because I am using a columnar grid .. are you using tabular?

To answer your question, "Yes" I am using a tabular grid. I never tried the columnar grid.
