In the visual query builder, I would like to add a condition that compares with a url parameter. If the url parameter value is not present, I would like to specify a parameter which includes all values, like a wildcard *.

Basically, it is a search condition and if user does not specify, return all results. Can a wildcard be used in the default value of the condition parameter?

Pls help!

TIA!

In CCS you specify a parameter and a default if it is zero.

Note this default does NOT have to be a static value, it can call a function, e.g. if you get no responses for a result set get the Max value for a user.

Hope this helps.

Thanx for the advice, Edd. I've also found out that just placing an empty string like this "" works.
