Hi,
I am a newbie with CCS.

The problem is simple: I modified a form in design view then save form.
The associated jsp file does not get regenerated. All other files are.
Even choosing "Generate code" from the context menu of the page does not do it.

Do i miss a setting somewhere ?

Hi there,

If you are using CCS 2.x then you should save and close the page and open it up again. Then you choose the tab "code" from the buttom of the page. On the top of the page you will see the name of the generated jsp/xml files. If there is a '*' next to the name of the file then you have already the changes. Save it all again.

If you are using CCS 1.x and the methode above doesn't work then the most secure way is to go to the project folder and delete the yourpage.jsp and yourpage.xml files for that particular page (delete yourpage.xml if you changed anything in the logic of the page like SQL queries, etc.). Then try that from the top again.

Notice: Do not ever delete the yourpage.ccp and yourpage.html. Also do not delete the yourpageHandlers.jsp if you added any custom codes for events and actions.

Thanks RG.

I tried this: open page & saving the jsp & closing page & reopen page.
This did not work.

I tried deleting the jsp. That worked.

I had exactly the same problem...

It came about (I think) by accidental edit of the generated JSP code. This cuased further design changes never to go through to the page. Nice to know that you can just delete the JSP file.
