I have a registration page working very nicely except that when there are input errors it displays the page from the top and the user has to know to scroll down to see the errors. In the template I'm using the errors appear at the top of the input form.

So here's how the URLs looked:

Initial URL: Register.php
URL with results after user makes an input error: Register.php?ccsForm=pupils

I inserted a bookmark above the input form. I then found the "Redirect" (header location) logic that creates the 2nd URL above and altered it so that it now comes back as:

Register.php#topform?ccsForm=pupils

"topform" is the name of my bookmark.

Unfortunately this does not take me to the top of the form
and when I scroll down, the errors no longer appear.
I just get a blank form as though I gone to Register.php.

Ideas my friends?

Perhaps I should explain that by "Bookmark" I mean the "name=" parameter in HTML. This name is then referenced in the URL as "Register.php#topform" where topform is the name in the HTML. That works until I add ?ccsForm=pupils to the end, then I get neither the error messages nor the skip down the page to the form.

At any rate this did get me to the top of the forum list!
