WILL CDONTS COMPONENT WORK WITH LOTUS MAIL SERVER?...WE ARE USING WINDOWS 2000 FOR OUR WEB SERVER AND IIS5 .......

If you are asking if it is possible to use the CDONTS component of W2K/IIS to send/forward mail to a Lotus Notes Mail Server, then the answer is yes.

You will need to make sure that the Notes Server is set up to receive SMTP mail (make sure the SMTP process is running and configured). If you are blocking mail by IP or domain, you will want to make sure that your filters are not blocking out the incoming from your IIS server. Other than that, it should not be a big deal ... Notes is an E-mail server. We do this type of thing all the time at my company and several of my clients.
