 Access - password protecting

I want to password protect an Access database, which I have successfully done. However, when setting it up with CCS (with username and password), it's not opening the database. The error I'm getting is that it's opened exclusively by another user (it's not open at all, just password protected). Using ASP.

Anyone have a work around or know what's up?

Thank you!

I've seen this in asp.net. CCS opens it up exclusively. First thing to try to prove this is to close CCS and then run your app. If it is okay, then go into the connection settings edit advanced and change CCS permission for design to read. Those share things didn't seem to work
