Ok, i don't know if the values are missing or if the documentation is just
bad:

I have a label field that I want to join to a table (The label is currently
showing the ID number of an institution, I want to join it to that table so
that it will display the textual name). I could easily do this in
Codecharge 2, but seem to not be finding the correct settings here. I can
do it fine with a listbox item (Choosing List Data Source, Bound Column,
Text column, etc..), but how in the world do i do this with a label?

Thanks, oh, and you guys are aware that half of the things you right click
on and choose properties don't actually bring up properties dialogs right?

Also, if someone could answer my other post on the whole secured page thing,
i'd greatly appreciate it.

Thanks,
Jon.

Jon,

You can specify "Control Source" for your field in the Properties.
To make your institution field appear there, you first will need to define a
query for your grid.
Click on the grid, then in the properties click on [...] button in "Data
Source" property.
Then specify "Select Query" and select all tables that contain the
information that you like to display in your grid.

No, we are not aware that properties dialog doesn't appear in some cases.
Please always try to assume that we don't know of an issue, so that it can
be fixed.
Generally, when you right-click on something and choose properties, then
nothing should happen if your Porperties window is already shown.
This is usually the case, therefore you will rarely see anything happening.
