Hi all,
Working thur the 2nd CCS b Tutorial.
Want to add a hyperlink to a grid field.
Changed the field to a link but can't find where to define the parameter
I want to send to the hyperlinked page.
Has anyone tried this yet?
How did you do it?

Please click on the Link type field in your Grid, then in properties
specify:
Href Type = Page
Source/Parameters = (select the page name, then specify Link Parameters like
employee_id or task_id, etc.)
Link Parameters are in the dialog box that pops up when you click on [...]
next to Source/Parameters.

If you look at the BugTrack program, the Employees grid has a mailto
column which is like a hyperlink. The property "HRef Type" is set to
Database which means it uses the database column for the data. The
"Source/Parameters" is set to the email field from the record.
If you want to link to another page in your application, set "Href
Type" to Page and Source/Parameters to your web page.
Alternatively you could roll your own HTML string and put it in the
Before Show event.

Thanks Konrad,
That did it.
I was there but didn't finish the parameter selection.
How much easier could it have been? It can't.
And Thanks Brent,
The database example was very cool.
Also, I won't be rolling my own HTML unless absolutely neccessary.
Thats why I'm researching CodeCharge. I just don't want to code
anymore.
(Unless its absolutely neccessary).
I just want to produce, produce, and produce.
Double thumbs up gents,
