Product suggestion.

I do like the fast layout of CCS for prototyping - Nice tool!

Using COLD Fusion Studio the Studio Wizard for generating a DRILL down Does
a very clean SEARCH motif that would greatly enhance the CCS Search builder.
Not only does it let you pick the field(s) for search it creates a COMBO box
for each seach field that assist the user in building a WHERE clause for
SQL.

The user can select field OPTIONs like: Begins With, Ends With, Contains,
Less than, Greater than, Equal to, ....
The user does not need to concern themselves with Wild Card Syntax *% etc.
The simple subroutine created/used also accommodates the different syntax
needed/based on FIELD type (Char, Memo) etc etc....

Hi Paul,
Any chance of seeing a demo of this.

I'd like to add this type of search / order by to my Bug Tracking.

Hi Paul,

In CodeCharge Studio you can easily specify WHERE parameters in the Grid, as
opposed to the Search.
The Search is really just a record form that gathers user's entry, and sends
it back to the page, which is then used by the Grid.
In fact, the Search form doesn't even need to be connected to a database.

Here is a tutorial that contains information on how to specify search
criteria within Grids.
http://www.codecharge.com/download/files/pdf/CCSTutorial_Beta.pdf

However, the Search and Search/Grid wizards will be enhanced in the near
future to make it easier to setup the Search via a single wizard.
Wizards will also generate ListBoxes.
