Maybe I'm way of but the first glance of beta5 seems to confirm the feeling
I have that more attention is given to ASP and PHP is left behind a little.
With the new release tutorials for asp are there, nothing about PHP. I
havent seen any postings concerning the dateformat functions in ASP so I
assume they work. PHP date functions are still not working. If this is
indeed the case I must say I find it a bit odd that you put 42.1% of your
userbase in second place. (percentage from the poll on the gotocode site
stating 42.1 % of codecharge users use PHP as preferred programming language
with 30.6% going for ASP.)
I can understand it in the light of moving closer to Microsoft(see Frontpage
plugin) but I think it's taking a chance considdering the other 42.6 % of
your user base.
Codecharge studio is a great produkt and the service I get from Yes should
be an example for other companies. Just wanted to share some of my, possibly
unfounded, frustrations.

Ron,

The product was not yet released and you are looking at a Beta product
during its creation.
We only had 2 choices: don't release anything until everything is ready. Or
release the preview/beta version(s) and hope that users will understand that
it is work-in-progress, unsupported, and may be undocumented.
I'm not sure why PHP docs are not yet ready and all I can say that the
product is not yet completed. Please wait another week.

Thanks,

Konrad

Konrad,

I didn't mean to diss you guys in any way, as I said it's just sharing
some, probably unfounded, frustrations. I totaly understand it is a product
under development. Just look at it this way: If the program wasn't any good
in the first place I wouldn't be complaining. It's because the program is
that damned good that I nag. You guys spoil us and maybe I am behaving a bit
like a spoiled child. It's just a great toy and I want to play :-)
And again, the service you people deliver is the best!
This must be sort of a no win situation for you. If you dont put out beta's
we complain about you holding out on us. If you do... we complain it doesn't
do what we want it to yet. I know, must feel like hell :-)
Codecharge Studio gives me some tools I need badly to satisfy my endusers.
Guess what.... they nag as much as I do :-)

Thanks Ron.
Well, I'll check into PHP documentation to make sure that we do have it next
week :-)

This was a fairly old post, but I am still wondering when there is going to
be some more PHP documentation and tutorials coming along. I feel as though
I am wasting quite a lot of time trying to figure out a largely undocumented
application.

Can't even seem to figure out the basics without a many hour struggle...

Also having all the documentation posted in one place wouldn't hurt (like
the programming reference.. took my a while to find it squirreled away under
1_0_6.)
