Dear CodeCharge Studio developers,
At the risk of being torched I would like to suggest :
Please release new beta fixing PHP theme FTP bug.
The upcoming weekend is a good time to test the
rest of the functionality in the program. We've already
purchased the update so I'm very eager to get as much
testing done prior to release.
The fact that FTP of PHP projects in CCS B5 fails
at transfer of theme files makes it extremely difficult to
proceed with the evaluation.
The fact that the FTP works but fails only because
the slash is the wrong way around for the Themes
upload does seem to suggest a trivial solution.
Most serious developers probably have fast
uplinks so downloading an update should not
be an issue.
However wise, wary and scarred by the BugBeast
in many projects I realise that while in beta fixing
some issues does risk thowing up others :
but, a working FTP is a prerequisite for further testing.
I will therefore suspend my CCS activities pending
a fix.
While treading water I do have the choice of going deep
into PhotoSHop7 batching or Flash MX components,
but I would rather spend this weekend CodeCharging.
Greetings,
Dave

FTP publishing was fixed, although we didn't have time to prepare an update
yet.
Should be available tomorrow.

Thanks Konrad,
I look forward to this update.
Well, I'll switch to local publishing
and test the other news in B5 in the meantime.

Hello,
Funny I am always connected...
working on customer time I don't follow
my learning goals on the job
but here I am on a weekend,
waiting to help out in CCS beta,
and YS dissappoints me......
Konrad said the PHP FTP update/fix was due to be published......
today........ Friday
So I gave up a session in Flash component development
- with good programmer friends
- to CodeCharge on my system.
Well, I always follow my trajectory >>>>>>
So I'm here waiting for a promise to be fufilled
Treading water, no excitement yet,
On the side PCs I'm downloading about 4hrs DV tape
for a rough cut edit thats easy,
but boring (
But my wish and will right now is PLUG-INS in CCS
- and the FTP in PHP HAS to work to test!
its connected to a Flash component I'm building (aarrrgggg!!!!!!)
want to surprise them geeks........
Murphy's Law (DX version) still applies...
"All that should not go wrong will always go wrong"
-----------just when you need it most!
Help me out YS, please.....
Release the PHP FTP THEMES UPLOAD fix,
I've got an interesting project here!
Saludos!

Hi Dave,
Please download the following file: http://www.codecharge.com/studio/update/files/FtpUpload.exe
and use it to replace the FtpUpload.exe file in CodeCharge Studio root
folder.
Let me know if this helps.

You are a mind reader!
I've been thrashing round reading ALL the files in CCS program folder,
hoping to find a small fix for above.
I'm had to give up because I suspected the FtpUpload.exe
Thanks, I will implement the fix and come back as fast as I can.

Thank you Konrad,
You've saved my weekend!
- a small blemish on the FTP dialog
the line at the end has the word complets
should be completes.
The FTP's now working in PHP (yeah!!!)
let's hope the dialogs etc will have correct spellings
in release version.
It would otherwise reflect badly on a very sophisticated product.
