Hi there,

I tried publishing the EMPLDIR in ASP/C#.NET but generated the following
errors, any idea what mistake had I committed.

Line 1: <!--ASPX page @1-A9F1C66F-->
Line 2: <%@ Page language="c#" Codebehind="Default.aspx.cs"
AutoEventWireup="false" Inherits="EmplDir.Default.Default" %>
Line 3: <%@ Import namespace="EmplDir.Default" %>
Line 4: <%@ Import namespace="EmplDir.Configuration" %>

I am installed with the .NET SP1

Thanks.

Hey Kelvin,

I'm not an expert in .net yet, but I question the line below

AutoEventWireup="false" Inherits="EmplDir.Default.Default" %>

Should it not be

AutoEventWireup="false" Inherits="EmplDir.Default" %>

HTH

Frank

Kelvin,

Do you have the proper path for .NET setup in the
Tools/Options/Path dialog?

Also make sure on your web server to make a Virtual directory and set up the
permissions rather than let CCS create the directories at generation time.

Do you have the generated DLL in the Bin directory under the web sites root?

If not then you need to execute the *.bat file that is generated to create
the DLL.

??
Those are some problems I remember I had when I first setup .NET

Hi Robert,

I have it running under CC2.05. The only difference now is that I installed
the .NET SP 1.

Will look at it again today.

Thanks.

The problem is that CCS makes the directory on your server but does not
create the application. Go into Internet Information Server MMC snap in and
right click on the directory and properties, and hit the create button.
