This is a request.
When copying something from one page to another via the clipboard. If you
close the source page you loose the data in the clipboard.
So the request is please don't clear the clipboard under this circumstance.

It would be nice if the feature could be changed to leave the clipboard
alone. In all the desktop apps I worked on it was considered bad form to
clear the users clipboard with out at least telling them you were doing it.
