This was posted on the 22/08 by the CodeCharge Support:
We are pleased to announce the availability of VB.Net code pattern for
CodeCharge Studio. Though mostly functional, this is a beta release and
should be treated as such. In this regard, we would like to receive input
from you regarding any problems encountered while using this pattern. Bear
in mind that it is possible that significant changes could be made to the
pattern between now and the time a stable release is available.
Before installing the pattern, it is strongly recommended that you create a
backup copy of the "Components" folder of your CodeCharge Studio
installation. You can then revert to this backup in the event that the
installation of the new pattern adversely affects the functioning of the
software.
To install the pattern, download the zip file to your hard drive then unzip
the archive to the folder in which CodeCharge Studio is installed. Unzipping
the archive will overwrite some of the existing action and pattern files as
well as the Site.xml file. When you next open CodeCharge Studio, you will
have the option of setting the Code Language to "ASP .Net 1.0 VB" within the
Project Settings window. In order to test the generated code, you need to
have the final release of the .Net framework SDK installed on your server.
Also all .Net projects must be deployed to a virtual folder created using
the Internet Services Management console.
In the event that you want to revert to the previous state of the software,
use the Tools-->Options window to open the Options window. Click on the
'Paths' option and in the "Components" field, enter the path to the backup
"Components" folder you created previously.
The zip archive containing the new pattern can be downloaded from the
following location:
http://www.codecharge.com/download/files/patterns/CCS_VB.NET_Beta1.zip
Please submit comments and bug reports about this pattern to http://support.codecharge.com

The CodeCharge Team

Hey guys this was posted on 8/31/2002
Dear CodeCharge user,
We are pleased to announce VB.NET support for CodeCharge Studio.
CodeCharge Studio 1.0.7 users can download the self-installing udpdate from http://www.codecharge.com/download/files/CCS107VBNET_upd.exe (0.6 MB) The
full CodeCharge Studio installation with VB.NET support is also available at http://www.codecharge.com/download/files/CCStudio1_0.exe (17.5
MB)
- Before installing the update, it is strongly recommended that you create a
backup copy of the "Components" folder of your CodeCharge Studio
installation.
- The update installation steps involve only downloading and running the
executable, which will overwrite some of the existing action and pattern
files in "Components" folder.
Please note that the version of CodeCharge Studio (1.0.7) has not changed as
the update contains only additional code patterns while the main
code-generation engine remains the same.

The CodeCharge Team
