Been thru all the online help and the tutorial PDF file and there are
precious few examples of how to do anything. I am completely stuck on how to
achieve the following:

I have a series of Events, for which a user can register, deregister or
amend registration.

i.e. Register to attend an event
Deregister, such that he no longer intends to attend the event
Change registration details, such as how many people will be with him

So I have a page displaying the event details, with a grid showing
regsitered attendees. As part of the main event details I have created a
link to an 'attendance' page, and I would like this page to show the fields
to be entered if he is not currently regsitered for the event, or the
existing values if he is already registered. In the latter case, a
DeRegister button will also be required.

The database structure, as you would expect, has a User record, an Event
record, and a many-to-many resolver holding the primary key of those two
records plus a few registration fields.

I'm guessing the solution will be along the lines of different forms, shown
or hidden dependant on current registration state.

If anyone can point me at some sample code, or better still, a decent
technical document for CSS, I'd be very grateful.

Regards, Steve
