Howdy,
I have with a lot of help from lots of people built a record form that has
multiple dynamic db droplists. The 2nd list is populated based on the
results of an "onchange" event in the 1st droplist. But I run in to a
problem when the page is first opened as the 1st droplist has no initial
value. As a result I get a big ugly ODBC error complaining that the 2nd
droplist has an invalid sql query. This goes away of course once the 1st
droplist has had its initial value changed.
I know that there are probably a hundred better ways to build this type of
form but I get a bit lost with out the CCS GUI.
Any help Greatly appreciated

Cancel this - I sorted it in a completely different manner.

Hello Folks,
In your opinion is the CCS software worth the learning curve? I am still
debating on whether I should purchase this
software. It almost seem as though the software creates as many problems as
it solves by reading this list. According
to the web site info it seems as though using this software can save a lot
of valuable time, but I just don't know if I shouldn't
just hand code my own PHP scripts for use with MYSQL. I would appreciate any
thoughts on this matter.
