I have just upgraded my CodeCharge software with CodeCharge Studio.
I receive no errors during install.
I don't see any obvious errors when editing one of the example sites. I can
edit, save file(s) and publish over the Internet to a test site of mine - I
get no obvious errors.
But, even though my pages are successfully sent to the server, the database
on the server is never accessed. I've verified this with tcpdump. Codecharge
Studio is doing fine with its FTP publishing, but nothing ever happens with
the database.
The server is W2K Advanced Server with Apache 2.0.43/mod_perl-2/PHP4/FPSE
2000 and MySQL 3.2.? - but I don't think this problem has anything to do
with the server or its configs (at this point). I have created several PHP
test pages that read/write to the MySQL server. These work. I have also used
the admndemo.exe program and successfully connected to the MySQL server.
I've telnetted to the MySQL server on port 3306 successfully. My firewalls
are configured to allowed access to the MySQL port 3306.
My strong suspicion is that I have a corrupted installation of CodeCharge
Studio, but I have uninstalled, deleted the CodeCharge Studio directory,
rebooted and reinstalled. I get the same problem. Things just aren't working
and the ONLY indication that there is a problem (other than the server's
MySQL database not being created when publishing) is the logger.ini file in
the CodeCharge Studio folder. The following is a copy/paste of the

What's wrong?
Just to prove that mysql works, I took the install_mysql.sql script from the
Internet examples folder and copied it to the mysql server. I created a test
database and ran the script. The database is populated as expected, tables
and records are created. I can even view "some" of the site's pages at this
point. But it's obvious that whatever problem I am having is effecting some
of the published site since I cannot get to the Administration pages of the
portal example, login or anything like that - they draw a blank page with
nothing in it. Even though the main page shows up beautifully with the info
from the database.

 Ok, so I'm an idiot - logger.ini is perhaps the descriptions for the
error codes that logger.exe uses. I wish I could delete my previous post in
this thread. ;)
Where does logger.exe store the log file it creates? Are there any CCS log
files?
