I have been using CCS (ASP/VB) for some time successfully.

Recently I was given VB.NET by my employer to learn and develop with. Keep
in mind, that I am new to VB.NET.

How would I benifit, upgrading CSS to support VB.NET?

Well unless you plan to use ASP.Net with VB.Net code behind...it won't help
at all <g>. CCS is a web development tool and won't help much if you are
coding windows forms (vs. web forms).

Would CCS and VB.NET support be helpful

if I moved to Web forms?

Yes, CCS does much of the grunt work for you in creating web forms (e.g.
laying out the grid, creating the update forms, etc.). YOu can then use
this as a building block in VS.Net or work with it in CCS. but, the nice
thing is you can produce web stuff that is useable very quickly with CCS
while with just VB.Net using VS.Net it may take a bit longer.

Thanks Shawn,

Ive been developing VB apps for a couple years now. But was not until just a

I have built a sepeperate PC to test CCS and VB.NET.
I have a couple of questions.

Installed
CCS w/ VB.NET support
VB.NET
ASP.NET

After installing all the products. I decided to create a BookStore Solution,
to test with.

The CCS generated code for VB.NET, errors out on me.

Parser Error Message: Could not load type 'BookStore.default.default'.

Any ideas whats going on?
