Is it possible to create an application in CCS using a Tab Strip interfacce

Thanks

I just started using a product called Just Tabs from Lincoln Beach,
www.lincolnbeach.com with some success. It's $24.95 to buy but you can
download to try.

You say with some success - Does it work with CCS?

Thanks

Yes it does. I am using 2.0 beta and have a couple of tabbed pages working.

I'm not sure how Peter is using it, but I have looked at it, and have easily
"integrated" it with CCS2. It's nothing that can't be done by hand, but if
you use tabbed interfaces, it can save you some time. In my opinion, it's
well worth the $25 registration fee. If you would like to see an example,
go to http://www.cordovadesign.com. I put this small CCS2/JustTabs
interface together in about five minutes.

Take a look at http://www.cordovadesign.com and check the link, you can see
it in action with CCS2. It's very easy to use, and can be a great timesaver
if you use tabbed interfaces.

Pretty neat!

Now it would be *really* cool if you could make this work where instead of
the tabs going to different pages, each tab shows a different group of forms
that can be made visible and invisible based on the menu selection.

Could then manage your whole site in one fancy page...

Wonder if it could be done. I suppose it could, based on URL parameters,
making form.visible=false, and somehow integrating that with this $25
tool... hmmmmm.....

Very easy to wrap around pages - automatic..
I'd want to show different tab sets on a page according to security level -
without needing separate pages per level.
This would require the tabs to be inside the usual CCS form paradigm, maybe
in a {header} page. The wrapper table end tags will need cutting to the the
{footer} - should be able to automate this OK.

Thanks for the link Peter.

Spoke a bit soon....
If I want a set of tabs determined by the security level of the user, it's
not so automated.
The active/inactive tabs are specific per page (of course) so a separate set
is required for each page per sec level, which means making 'em all up and
if reading from table then the query has to have page name and sec level and
the tangle begins.....

Anyone doing tabs easily over sec levels?
