....cause I think this would involve some serious work. Okay here goes:

We use both CC and CCS inhouse to do a great deal of our projects. We have
one project, in particular, which makes use of many tables and such, but
that's not the problem. The problem lies in having some pages that have many
forms on them (whether grid or not). Some of these pages have 5 to 10 forms
on them. So what we run into is rather large overhead, lots of data being
transmitted when it's really unnecessary for this to be the case, much SQL
running in the background, etc... We have commenced using ilayers and
iframes to get around this problem, and this has been working well for us,
but it's a major pain to implement.

The question: Would it be possible/desirable to have the application
building wizard ask if one wants a given forms/set of forms to reside in an
ilayer/iframe?

What are people's thoughts on this? Has anyone else run into similar
situations? How are you dealing with it?

any and all feedback appreciated.

Jason Charette.
