Hi All,
Is it possible to have hidden fields in a grid in CCS the way you could
with CodeCharge?
Also, how would I create a field in a grid in CCS without using the
builder? Is there an easy way that I am just missing?

Yes, just click on the field and then right click in the menu use change to
hidden, that's it.
